The Colonial Patio Restaurant

built in the late 19th century, is located on the lobby level of the Hotel. Beautiful travertine tables and comfortable iron carved chairs complement the colonial architecture of romantic arches made from dry stone methods. You can enjoy a light lunch before taking your City Tours or simply enjoy the natural, bright ambiance. In the evenings, during dinner, you can immerse yourself in the quiet atmosphere and be delighted by our fine service. You will savor the cuisine of our delectable menus, whose offerings perfectly reflect the elegance of our hotel.

Our restaurant The Colonial Patio will delight you with an exquisite variety of traditional dishes, which are considered the Sacred Food for the Incas.
Our meals are presented in a special menu designed by Le Cordon Blue Chefs.
Each dish is prepared with fresh produce, organic vegetables and carefully selected native ingredients.

Among the exotic produce, we use organic, non-GMO, high protein grains such as quinoa, kiwicha, and naturally occurring purple corn. Also, a tremendous variety of potatoes are available. They are varied according to region and have diverse textures and colors. For example, Yucca root, native to the crescent rain forest near Cusco and Machu Picchu, is a root that can be served as a side dish to seafood or meat. In addition, some of our dishes are prepared with the infamous maca root, which is a well-known source of energetic nutrients.

Mother Nature is very generous in providing us Andean spices and herbs like rocoto, ruda, huacatay, muña, which are found in the hills and gardens of the Sacred Valley in Cuzco. All these natural contributions are part of the everyday dining culture across Peruvian tables. We want to share with you and give you the opportunity to taste and experience the flavor of Peru and the culinary traditions of the Incan Empire.

We focus in making your gastronomic experience extraordinary!

In order to have the best Andean gastronomic experience, and feel like you have truly explored the Peruvian – Quechua – Inca culture, you must try our traditional dishes like “Lomo Saltado”, “Arroz con Pollo”, “Papa a La Huancaina”, “Aji de Gallina” and the exotic “Alphaca Terra Andina”.

Our bar will delight you with all kinds of fresh fruit juices, such as oranges, lemon, papaya, pineapple, mango, chicha morada, cocona and passion fruit. Chicha morada, a very typical Peruvian refreshment, is very high in anti-oxidants.
